~Rose and Crown Bulldogs

Hi, my name is Marilyn!

Even though the world may refer to me as a breeder, I consider myself, first and foremost, a caregiver; a caregiver to my puppies and their mama. In my passion to be the best caregiver that I can be, I am supported by my family-my husband, our three sons and my mom. I could not do what am able to do without their support.

With that being said, I do also accept the tittle of breeder, as I do make the very important choices that must be made for the best possible pairings, to bring the best possible bulldog puppies into the world. A responsibility that I do not take lightly. A puppy born under my care, knows love and devotion.  I do not cut any corners and I go above and beyond for them. For that reason, I feel a strong responsibility to select families that will love, care and spoil our beloved puppies for the rest of their lives. The sole purpose of our love-filled program is to bring together the best cared for English Bulldog puppies, with English Bulldog loving families.

Puppy Rehoming Fees:

In our eyes, our puppies are beings that come into this world to be family members. For that reason, it is our own personal view to NOT consider them to be "for sale" or to have a "price."  We do have to require a rehoming fee that ranges between $5,000 and $5,500*. The purpose of our rehoming fee is to: 1) contribute towards what is needed to ethically and responsibly bring our precious puppies into the world; 2) contribute towards the high level of care that we provide to mama and our puppies.  Lastly, it has also been shown that a rehoming fee demonstrates the financial ability to provide for a puppy, which is a must for us. Our puppies deserve the best, from birth and for the rest of their lives.

How To Join Our Wait List:

Step 1: Complete our Puppy Application

Step 2: Complete brief FaceTime meeting with Marilyn

Step 3: If/Once approved: submit $500 deposit and signed Wait List Agreement. Deposit is applied toward the total rehoming fee of puppy. Deposit is non-refundable.

Wait list families receive timely and transparent communication about breeding, pregnancy confirmation, due date, delivery and  lots and lots puppy updates.

What Should Wait List Families Expect Once Puppies Are Born:

When puppies are born, you will be the first to receive notification on the number of puppies born and their gender. You will have access to private photo albums of all puppies, and will also receive very detailed weekly emails that include information about mama, puppy curriculum, puppies' development, any doctor's appointments, puppy-coming-home planning, etc. Our goal is for us to share with you, the joy of seeing your puppy's accomplishments and growth, and also to guide you to make your puppy's transition home easy and exciting.

When Will Wait List Families Select Their Puppy:

It is important for us to have puppies's assessed by a licensed veterinarian and have the puppies' temperament evaluations done before puppy selections.  Puppy selections will happen when puppies are 7 weeks old, in the same order in which you joined our wait list.

By the time puppies are 7 weeks old, because of our constant communication, not only will you know all puppies very well, but you will also have all puppies' veterinary assessment results and temperament test reports! For all of these reasons, puppy selections go very smoothly and fast. It is a happy and wonderful day! Second best only to the day that your bulldog baby comes home, Gotcha Day.

When Do Puppies Join Their Families:

Puppy Gotcha Days' will be on a day between when puppies are 8 and 9 weeks old.

This is necessary to allow our precious puppies to wean off mama's milk, to be physically and developmentally ready to be the only puppy in the household, and to allow us to complete our puppy curriculum which culminates with our puppy temperament evaluations.

These Are The Three Options For Your Puppy To Come Home on Gotcha Day:

1) You may pick up your puppy in person. We are 30 minutes west of Downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

2) You may fly into Cleveland Hopkin's International Airport, in Cleveland, Ohio. We would be happy to meet you there with your puppy.

3) You may opt for Marilyn to fly your puppy to your nearest major airport. Additional fee, independent from puppy's rehoming fee, will apply. This fee will be the total of 1 person roundtrip airfare with assigned seat + one way in-cabin pet fee + caregiver fee of $500.

We will be in close communication to plan your preferred pick up arrangement. Our goal is to make your puppy's homecoming the best day possible for puppy and you!
